WHO ARE WE?

We’re a group of people who all love running - some fast and some slow, some far and some not so far. But we all have one thing in common: to be fit and get fitter, while enjoying every moment because of those we run with.

And you’re welcome to join us.

The Maxed Elite Running Club is open to anyone who loves to have fun, has the drive to achieve some running goals, and is looking for a fitness journey that’s enjoyable too.

From rookie runners to experienced athletes, we encourage every level of runner to join us. Our team currently includes our group of Elite runners who continue to vie for gold at S.A.’s most iconic races, as well as the newbies starting out their running journey with the aim of completing their first 5 or 10k.

It really is a club for everyone and we promise you will feel welcome from the first day!

Collegians Rugby Club
67 Isaiah Ntshangase Road, Durban.

2.HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME TO JOIN?
R600 for the year – from January to December (with additional running programs and apparel options to add to your cart). Renewals will be necessary after this time.

3.WHAT DOES MY MEMBERSHIP FEE COVER?
• Maxed Elite running vest
• KZNA/ASA licence number for the year. (This means you don’t have to buy a temporary licence when you enter races)
• Hospitality at selected race events.

4.WHEN DO I GET MY KIT AND LICENCE?
As soon as ASA and KZNA have given us numbers, we will allocate these to members and distribute kit accordingly. Kit and license numbers will be distributed as runners register with the Maxed Elite Running Club - in January and throughout the year.

5.HOW LONG IS THE LICENSE VALID FOR?
Until the end of the year. If runners register in January, the license will be valid for twelve months. If they register in July, it will only be valid until the end of the year. The onus is on each runner to renew their license at the beginning of every year.

6.CAN I GET MY OWN RUNNING LICENSE?
You need to belong to a club to obtain a license – without one you will need to purchase a temporary licence at every race event.

7.DO I HAVE TO RUN EVERY CLUB SUPPORTED RACE?
Not at all. Feel free to run any race that suits you – this could be all of them or only a select number of races.

8. HOW OFTEN DO WE RUN AS A CLUB?
We run together twice a week. We meet and run set distances (but these are optional as are the distances)
